STORY
Our woodworking techniques are best when creative process allows materials to influence designs as much as the function does. This balance leaves pieces with a true sense of origin and purpose.

Our talented craftspeople collaborate closely with architects and interior designers to develop the objects and furniture that can maximize the uniqueness and character of the original design concept.

WORKS
Wood has been one of the primary elements used by mankind to build things for ages galore! with the advancement of modern techniques, and extensive sourcing network. Surely we have built lot of options to beautify the wooden objects in fusion of resin, metal & concrete. The beauty of a simply muted wooden object with its warm, smooth finish is enough to salvage any craftsmanship.

Our workshop under able leadership of ace craftsman Abdul Nazer, consists of high-end machines and tools. Shop floor is designed to encourage, to hone existing techniques and try newer things in wood curation.

The highest level of refinement is pursued in each object, while also holding the unique fingerprint of the designer. Our curation work balances the desire for new ideas and progression with an appreciation for simple forms. The result is objects that can harmonise with a room or act as a deliberate contrast.

Prototyping
Efficient and accurate prototyping is paramount to launching a successful product. Gauging the overall proportions, the weight of a piece, stock thickness, moulding, profile treatments and, in some cases, joinery details.

Material
We produce for those that appreciate the rigorous process required for high-quality manufacturing and renewable resources. We use wood from sustainable forests and environmentally friendly materials.

Woodworking Technology
Our curates are built using a blend of classic and modern woodworking techniques. The shop floor is built around the idea of minimal waste, re-purposing, and environmentally conscious production methods.

Quality Standards
Our quality standard demands attention to detail and refined technique at every stop from design and prototyping through to finish work. Apart from the final quality control that every customised machine-made woodwork goes through, during its creation. Each pair of hands and eyes are trained to inspect along the way, ensuring quality is flawless and second to none.

Our Team
Creating amazing woodwork, our artisan curator Abdul Nazer adds “our craftsmanship skills exemplifies forms, culture of design, wood knowledge, technology, and craft”. Creating an intriguing visual experience.

Abdul Nazer has been perfecting this craft since 1998, equipped with latest technology and modern machines for woodworking, our cutting-edge unit enables us to cater very customised bespoke designers exclusive work. We follow a 360-degree work process wherein the production teamwork is in tandem for faster turnaround from concept to reality.

Co-founder, Imtiaz Baji ensures workmanship reach its market, making Nazer’s craftmanship remains unfettered and free to explore the vision of Tarkashi. Imtiaz has a vast knowledge of serving limited edition print collaterals across respective brands. Imtiaz is now the marketing and strategists coordinating alongside Nazer with clients, to ensure Tarkashi’s mission is possible through every single designer wood collectible & bespoke furniture.
