Cancellation & Refund Policy


 If you wish to cancel your order and avail a refund, a request to this effect must be made within 48 (forty-eight) hours of the order being placed. Please note that we do not offer any change of heart return, cancellation, or exchange options after the expiry of this 48 (forty-eight) hour window. Applicable 10% restocking fee on the product you would like to cancel. Products should be returned in their original packaging along with the original price tags, barcodes, labels, user manual, warranty card and invoices etc. It is advised that the return packets should be strongly and adequately packaged so that there is no further damage of products during transit. The returned products are subject to verification and checks by Tarkashi in order to determine the legitimacy of the return. Any products returned in a damaged condition will not be refunded also Third-party payment gateway charges will apply for order cancellations.

We take great care in packaging and delivering your orders. However, we understand that some products may become damaged during transit due to external factors and recommend that you take delivery of each product personally, and carefully inspect for any damage. Only if goods are damaged during shipping we offer product repair, product replacement and/or refund options.

The delivery personnel (logistic personnel) accompanying the shipment will supervise the unloading and unpacking of the product. If any product in the shipment is received in damaged condition, we encourage you notify the delivery personnel at the time of delivery, or inform Tarkashi immediately on care@localhost of receipt of such damaged product to avail repair or replacement or cancellation and refund options.

Upon receipt of intimation of a damaged product, in case of minor repairs, we will coordinate with you to options to do the needful. For major repairs, replacement and, or, refund our team will contact you to schedule a reverse pick-up of the damaged product from your premises. Damage & defect will be assessed in front of our delivery personnel and a solution will be provided in 48 hours. In the opinion of Takashi, the product is broken, it may be returned/replaced, or any other corrective measure may be taken, as deemed appropriate by Takashi, to address the issue.

Cancellation in case of wrong product, does not comply with the specification as per your original order, raise the issue immediately and report it for support at care@localhost.
Products purchased on discount or during sale cannot be cancelled.

While expected time for replacement will differ on a case-to-case basis, we shall make best efforts to ensure that the replacement product reaches you within 4 to 6 (four to six) weeks from the reverse pick-up date.

Refunds where applicable will be initiated no later than 7 (seven) working days of such a request being made. if you are eligible for any refund, the same shall be given to you as per the following guidelines, all refunds & replacement process initiation shall be subject to pick up of all cancelled items from your/customer’s premises.

Refund will be initiated via NEFT, cash or by the way payment was originally made. Depending on the orders, the processing charges might be deducted.

Warranties on the electronic products in connect with wooden product comes with a 1-year warranty which covers manufacturing defects of the drivers, etc.

This limited warranty does not apply to small cuts, scratches or damage during the cleaning process, damaged caused by the incorrect installation of a product. cracks during the random displacement. Product kept in contact to direct sunlight and water, resulting in decaying of wood, with time solid woods are encountered by minor cracks, called as checks, which are not included in faults and warranty, as these checks do not hamper the life of a product.

As per the industry standards, unevenness up to 5 mm can happen because of the difference in surfaces and floor levels. In that case, there is not a warranty.
